Auria started playing table-tennis for fun at the age of five and seriously at the age of ten. He has taken numerous international trips including multiple trips to China during the summertime to train. He wishes he had taken table-tennis more seriously at an earlier age as he could be even better than he is currently. His biggest accomplishment is making the 2004 Junior National Team. A number of high-rated players are his victims but he loses to those he is better than as well. His wins include Canadian National Team Members Bence Csaba, Xavier Therien and Pierre-Luc Hinse, as well as top Americans Khoa Nguyen, Misha Kazantsev, Shashin Shodhan, Han Xiao, and Ashu Jain. He currently goes to school at De Anza College and is undeclared. He plans on attending grad school after getting his undergraduate degree. Auria also enjoys wakeboarding, snowboarding, motorcycling, and watching movies and is the only person in our sport to have gotten a kiss from Anna Kournikova. Yes, it's true but let's not talk about how he pulled that off!
