BIO:
    Dhaval was born in Mumbai (Bombay) and was initiated into Table Tennis at the age of 7 by his father, Niranjan Shah at the WIAA Club, Mumbai. He has been playing numerous local and national tournaments since. His table-tennis involvement took him to the Indian National Coaching Camp at the age of fifteen for a summer of training. His biggest table-tennis accomplishments include representing his highly ranked Maharashtra State at the Junior National Level Championships in India and also captaining the mid-west region of USA at the ACUI International Tournament (he came to USA for graduate studies in 1994). He has won three India Community Center Open tournaments and is the reigning champion at Cisco Systems Inc. where he works as a Product Manager in the Access Business Unit (ABU).
