BIO:

If you've been around our website or other table-tennis websites such as USATT's, the name Kingston Gee should sound very familiar.  Kingston started his "lifelong fascination" for photography at age 15 and has been clicking away since.  Table-tennis arose his curiosity in his younger days and he started playing at SFTTC and learned from Kenneth Lee and Erwin Hom.  Kingston, or "King" as he is often called, likes the complexity of the sport and calls meeting Japanese World Champion Shigeo Itoh as the highlight of his table-tennis career.  However, bad parents are something he could live without.  His favorite player is 2-time Olympic Gold Medalist and 8-time World Champion Kong Linghui and King now practices regularly with his son, Bryan Gee, who is one of the many rising stars present in Bay Area table-tennis today.

By profession, King is a website manager.  Surprisingly, golf is actually his favorite sport and he was once a good bowler.  He has helped National Level Coach Masaaki Tajima's junior program for 9 years and was able to start his own program when Lincoln Square Recreation Center in Oakland started a table-tennis club in October 2005.  He runs the Lincoln Square club and coaches 5 kids there currently, all of whom seem promising.
