BIO:
So who is the smartest person you've met? Well, chances are, if the answer was not Kyna Fong, it should be now. It is safe to say that she is a child prodigy. Graduating from high school at the age of 15 while taking advanced math courses at UC Berkeley, being one of a few high school students in the US allowed to attend any university she wanted, graduating from Harvard University with High Honors, finishing her Masters at Harvard at the age of 19, being called brilliant because of her research work by a Harvard professor, being admitted and paid to attend the PhD program at Stanford which only seven people are admitted to, and all this when she does plenty of other activities. Impressed? You should be. Oh yeah, we almost forgot about her table-tennis. She started playing table-tennis at the age of 9 in Edmonton, Canada when she went to a tennis and table-tennis camp. Her move to the Bay Area came at the age of thirteen as her father moved here for career reasons. As for accolades, she has been the US Collegiate Women's Singles Champion and been US Open Junior Girls Champion. She also played ice hockey and ultimate frisbee for Harvard in addition to competing and being an officer in the NCTTA Currently at Stanford University, she continued to play ultimate frisbee and joined a Bay Area women's club team named Skyline. She helps run the Stanford University table-tennis club and hopes to make it be the premier table-tennis club in the Bay Area, open to Stanford students and other Bay Area locals, including juniors. Her goals in table-tennis are to have fun, get some exercise, and play one of the most challenging sports she's encountered as well as she can.
