BIO: Misha is arguably the biggest talent in the junior ranks in the US. In the under 18 year old singles category, Misha was first in the 2003 US Open and second in the 2004 US Open. Only sixteen years of age, Misha came within one game of making the final twelve at the 2004 Olympic Trials. At the 2004 US Nationals, Misha won the 2004 US Junior National Team tryouts beating rival Adam Hugh for the third time in a row. He also made the semifinals of men's doubles and came within two points of defeating 2004 US Olympic Team Member Mark Hazinski. Quite a tournament! Misha made the 2007 World Championship Team as the under 21 years old selection and played in the Croatia Worlds. At his young age, he has traveled to China twice, Japan, Malaysia, Croatia, Russia, Poland, France, Hungary, Sweden three times, and Canada all for table-tennis. His goal is to make the 2008 US Olympic Team but has his priorities straight and knows that school is #1 in this country because of the lack of money in the sport. He currently attends USC and is a member of their famed "Ping Pong Posse" which is very well-known on campus and in American table-tennis. |
