Sanjeev is one of many India Community Center table-tennis players who played lots of table-tennis during his days in India and picked up the sport again here because of table-tennis at ICC. He lived on a university campus in the Indian capital of Delhi and became hooked to the sport and played regularly with three friends starting at the age of nine. Tournaments began at the age of twelve and he became ranked in the top eight for junior boys under 17 years old in Delhi. Sajeev recorded his best ever win when he defeated the Indian National Under 14 year old champion in a hard-fought close match during Sanjeev's younger days. He played three hours daily during his junior years but wishes he was able to spend even more time for the sport. He was the team captain of the All-India KVS team which has school branches throughout India. Today, Sanjeev works as a software professional at Intertrust Technologies in Sunnyvale.
