Sean Lee is currently 16 years old, a junior in Monta Vista High School in Cupertino, and a U.S. National Boy's Cadet Team Member. He started playing table tennis when he was almost 10 years old. At this moment in time, his playing time has decreased to only 3 days a week. This decrease in playing time has occured mainly because of his high school studies and there needs to be quite a bit of time spent for schoolwork.
Besides going to school and playing table tennis, Sean is also learning
swimming, piano and violin. He goes to YMCA for swimming, is playing Suzuki
4 in violin, and he has played Fur Elise from Ludwig Van Beethoven on the
piano. He is learning these instruments mainly so he can put this on his
resume when he goes to college. His parents realize the importance of having
an all-around foundation when growing up so he has a better chance to go to
one of the top universities in the U.S. He also enjoys listening to music,
watching movies, chatting online, eating good stuff, and fishing. He used to
play some other sports besides table tennis like basketball and football. He
has big goals of winning all major World table-tennis titles and scoring a
perfect 1600 on the SAT. Sean says that people often come short of their
goals so he decided to dream as big as possible.
