BIO:

Usually when one talks about table tennis players, one refers to the strength of their forehand, their backhand, or their serves.  Well folks, we have a unique character in this league!  Sudhish has the strength of a chop...one that is very hard to loop because of the backspin he generates.  As to other parts of his game like backhand loop and non-chopping over-the-table play, Sudhish...uh....to be nice.....has some improving to do.  He presents a great test to other players' topspin games with his "super-chop."  Sudhish has one national title in the Under 4200 Doubles event with partner Wade Sun.  He said he won by....surprise..surprise..."chopping!"  Serve a chop, sidespin, nospin, or topspin and he'll chop it back.  It's like an addiction.

Sudhish's chopping roots started when he was 12 and living in India and he started playing for fun with friends.  He found out about table-tennis through friends here and has been chopping ever since.  He says all players over 2700 are his favorite players because they have his chop and a lot more.  He said it is hard enough to be 2600, let alone 2700.  He hopes to get more experience and upset some players in future competitive play.  He currently works at Yahoo and became a father recently to his daughter Meenakshi Iyer.
