During his training years, he has hit with Danny Seemiller who is a 5-time men's singles national champion and the current national head coach for the men's team.

Trevor has been ranked #1 in the US for under 16 years old and is currently ranked #10 in the US for under 18 years old. He was on the national cadet team and has made the last two US Junior National Teams after the 2004 and 2005 tryouts in Las Vegas.  In the 2005 tryouts, Trevor beat the top two juniors in the country, Adam Hugh and Misha Kazantsev, on his way to making the junior national team.  His best career title is winning the under 22 years old category at the Junior Nationals in summer 2004. In two Junior Olympics, Trevor has won two gold, two silver, and one bronze medal.  As a member of the junior national team, Trevor has traveled to Canada, Poland, and Florida.
