BIO:
Being fascinated by watching California's top player Khoa Nguyen play at San Jose State, Wayne immediately started playing table-tennis and joined the SJSU club and learned from everyone there.  He also learned from coaches in Hong Kong and China with varying methods and styles.  Coaches in Hong Kong were impressed that Wayne had reached a high level of play after starting in college.  Now, he is passing what he has learned to the younger generation as he coaches 5-7 hours a week.

Wayne finds table-tennis interesting because it is a "live chess match," requiring strategies, demanding physical attributes, and reflexes as well as a tough mentality. He feels there is no other sport as unique as table-tennis.  However, he feels that there are too many rule changes and feels that no other sport has gone through the rule changes that table-tennis has gone through.  His favorite player used to be Jiang Jialiang but now is Wang Liqin.  Not bad choices as both are 2-time World Men's Singles Champions!

Wayne is a IT Lead Business Consultant and enjoys reading, bowling, watching movies but nothing more than spending time with his kids.
